ABOUT ME
Hi. I’m Carrie.
I’ve always been a collector of hobbies… someone who loves learning new skills and working with my hands. Over time, sewing became the one that stuck. It’s versatile, practical, and deeply personal. There’s something powerful about wearing something you’ve made or transformed yourself, something no one else can buy off the shelf.
Before this, I was an elementary school teacher, where I brought creativity into the classroom through projects focused on sustainability: experimenting with natural dyes and reusing fabrics to show students that materials don’t have to be disposable.
That mindset never left.
Now, I spend my time sourcing vintage fabrics (often from estate sales I simply can’t resist!) and turning them into something new… while helping others do the same.
